Welcome to the website of The Parish Church of St James the Great, Manston, in Cross Gates.
We are a member of the Church of England, and are within The Diocese of Leeds. Our church building, as well access to the Church Hall and Parish Office, is situated on Church Lane, a five minute walk away from the hustle and bustle of Cross Gates shopping centre and just around the corner from Manston Park. See the map on for our exact location.
Whether you are visiting this site to find out about getting married in a church, to have your child baptised, to get to know about the range of children’s activities and groups which take place in our Hall week by week, or to come to worship with others at one of the various services we offer, we hope that you find what you are looking for.
If not, please use the contact details to get in touch with us and we will be pleased to try and help. Even better, come and see us to find out more, and to receive a warm welcome!
– Carolyn James, Vicar
