The parish of St. James the Great is a parish which cares for the vulnerable of any age. It has adopted the Diocese of Leeds Safeguarding Policy. Copies of the policy together with appropriate notices are on display in both the Church and the Parochial Hall. Church Hall:
The Parochial Church Hall of St. James the Great Manston is a community resource. It is available for hire, if you are interested in a private hire please ring 07908 362014 to arrange a booking. The parish has adopted a “Safe Space” attitude and copies of a suggested risk assessment are displayed in the hall. All users of the hall are encouraged to ensure that their leaders are appropriately trained and hold clear DBS certificates and that before each event they consider a risk assessment for their proposed activity. The Parish has adopted the Diocese of Leeds Safeguarding Policy/Promoting a safer Church and copies of the policy and appropriate notices are on display in the hall.
